FCS25
The Fine City Swing 2025 weekend festival in July 2025 was a huge success!
We enjoyed 3 x parties, 2 x awesome bands, 6 DJs and hours of lessons from amazing teachers.
We were also fortunate to have beautiful weather and enjoy the surroundings of a fabulous historic venue at the Assembly House. We also experienced the Lord Mayors celebration parade passing through the city centre on the Saturday, which added to the carnival feel. We received some lovely feedback from new and experienced dancers alike, and first-time visitors to Norwich, so thank you for joining us!
Some of the weekend's biggest highlights included:
-
Friday night party with DJ 'Pinball' Paul Claydon
-
2 days of inspirational Lindy Hop classes with Katie Cobalt & Mike Sonder
-
A Saturday evening Big Band Big Bash with the 16-piece (yes, 16!) Jay Craig and his Orchestra
-
Loads of fun Taster Workshop with local teachers
-
Spectacular displays from the Jenny Thomas Jammers performance dance troupe
-
The purely bonkers fun of our Saturday Night After Party
-
A lovely Sunday afternoon farewell party with Elise Roth and her High Standards
