Workshops and classes at FCS25 will be open level, with lots of useful content for everyone from beginner/intermediates through to advanced dancers. ​
Workshops
We're incredibly excited to welcome Katie Cobalt and Mike Sonder to teach for us this year. They will be teaching 6 hours of Lindy Hop workshops to our dancers with full weekend passes.

Workshops will all be open level, and will take place at the Assembly House.​

Level
Classes will be open level, but as a minimum, we'll expect everyone taking part to have experience of Lindy Hop including 6-count, 8-count and Charleston footwork and fundamental moves including swing-outs and circles.

When the tempo goes up there is no substitute for the Shag… Ellen and Rob will show you some simple but sassy moves to dazzle on any dancefloor.
Jazz Tap - Laura Jennings

Add some taps, shuffles and riffs to your Lindy hop and solo jazz with a taster class suitable for beginners. Tap shoes are not required but if you have some, feel free to bring them.
Social Foxtrot - Rhythm and Grace

The clue to Claire Grace’s dance style is in her name! Learn how to sweep effortlessly around the floor when those elegant 1930s dance band tracks come on.
